Making sure playgrounds are free of germs, free of charge, is Washrite Otago director Joseph Horrell, of Dunedin, washing the playground at the An-Nur child care centre in South Dunedin.
Mr Horrell said Washrite collectively offered its services to clean the playgrounds with a biodegradable sanitiser at no cost, in hopes it does something to stop the spread of Covid-19.
"It’s giving parents and children peace of mind, knowing they are somewhat protected, I hope."
